Two weeks to Easter and we've snow everywhere.
I should have known better than to declare that a start was at last made on the Wickham, for despite Jagger's best intentions, family matters took precedence and he has been unable to get back to Darley Dale to capitalise on the start he made.
Slightly fewer miles this week, so slightly less fatigued. Migraines temporarily averted. No need to go to Tunstead. Has it been a holiday? Naah..
OK, first off, those of you who are looking for lots of pickies this week are going to be disappointed – for whatever reason the camera has had a quiet week.

I like to start the blog with a few pithy phrases that give an air of detached insightfulness. Unfortunately I can't think of any.
December eh? Steph has stuck a calender under my nose and pointed out how few working days there are before Christmas, and how much Andrew and I keep trying to squeeze in.
The 'hit count' on this blog has been well up for the last couple of weeks – I gather it has had plugs on NatPres and something called Facebook (I'm not one for social media, but then a decade ago I'd never have thought of doing a weekly blog) so firstly a welcome to all new readers and I hope you'll hang around. It can get lonely here on my own.
It has been busy this week for most of the wrong reasons.
You were lucky to see last week's edition anywhere near to time. I set off south having (I thought) set it to publish at nine p.m. but in my haste had not got it right. Fortunately my hoster - Bill Hyde at Priday Design - not only provides a first-class service but is also a reader and a friend. He popped in to the administration section, realised I'd got it wrong and set it right!
